PLEASE VOTE~ THANKS!!!

Today, I received many many notices from Flickr, Hotmail and all.. It was about a picture I used 2-3 years back for a post in this blog. To be honest, I was rather apologetic at first and wanted to immediately add a disclaimer, until I saw the flaming on CS.

I would like to clarify that I never claimed property of that photo, and I do apologize for not giving proper accreditation. For those who don’t use WordPress, the by_______ is for the post not the photo. It was an honest mistake.

What I do not understand is why there had to be this big flaming on DeviantArt and ClubSnap over the issue accusing me of being a thieve. Being senior members, shouldn’t you guys know better than to flame without basis? I don’t have the time and energy to deal with all this crap, but I do not appreciate people jumping to conclusions over the matter.

If you are here, reading this post over the matter, sorry I did not mean to quote without accrediting, but I do not sarcasm and accusations especially from people who did not bother to see the other side of the story. ALL PHOTOS WITH MY NAME ON THEM AND THOSE WITH COPYRIGHT FROM MY CAMERA ARE MINE. THE REST GOES TO WHOEVER TOOK THEM (of which I do not know since this is the World Wide Web, but thanks anyway). By the way, this is not even some official photo blog.

Sorry but why would I need to use someone else’s work and pass it off as my own? My work may not be the best but I take pride in what I do (of which started AFTER 08). Move on.

Happy National Day once again. Its been four years since we were prancing around in neon yellow or blue at the national stadium. Alot has change since then.

The end of something good, is the begining of something awesome. NDP’06 may have ended 4 years ago but it is an imprint in each and everyone of our hearts. Photog may have ended 4 weeks ago, but the spirit and passion lives on in our lives. The next big thing? No one can tell whats gonna happen in the future, but in the AC spirit, the best is yet to be.

This year’s NDP theme is live your dream, fly your flag. What is your dream? Isit to be a top doctor in a leading medical institude or to be a pilot and soar with the winds? Everyone has their own dreams. Mine? To be a photographer that produces awesome photos that everyone loves some day. I may not be living off photography, but at least continue to constantly improve so that one day I can show to those self-delusional suckers what real beauty is. Haven’t been know to stick to my aspirations, but I think this one would last. After all, its a very expensive investment ><

National Day? Seems like another day to be mugging at home so that we can live our dreams..

To answer for real, I’d say that I just enjoy taking photos. It puts life into different perspectives. Theres so many things you can do with photography that shows you the beauty of the world. You’d start to notice things you’ve never bothered about before. Its like smelling the roses along a long tiring journey. Also, capturing the moments really makes life more exciting and enriching. You can learn so many things via photography and by admiring photos (: To me, its a never ending learning process!

As tears roll down my face, words can’t replace what I’m sure everyone of us are feeling now. The very last photog has come to an end and it is now over for us J2s. I never thought leaving would be so hard. Being in this CCA has really changed my life completely. I’ve never thought of it as a “slacker club” or some useless CCA and still believe it is not.

Photog has not only contributed to the school in many ways, Photog has also taught me so many things, both in photography and in life. It has given me many awesome friends that pulled me through the toughest of times. It has provided with me with so many opportunities that I never thought possible before. Most importantly, we are not just a CCA, we are great friends or even a family! It has really been one of the best experiences in my life. From photog outings and photog camps to seniors telling ghost stories and us throwing fishes, fishballs and fruits around. It has really been the best part of my JC life. I still can’t believe it has come to an end! 

It is really true that a good CCA can be the most awesome thing, and that every CCA can be fun as long as you participate. So to the exco, all the best in bringing photog to greater heights! To the non-exco, don’t start to pon photog! It can be a very awesome CCA if you guys just participate and enjoy it! (: To the OLD exco, thanks for your hard work! To all J2s, all the best for A levels! <3 forever!

Before JC life started, we were all looking forward to JC. Meeting new people, exploring new things, moving into a whole new environment. However, much to our disappointment, life wasn’t quite what we expected. Everyone was different, everything was different. Annoying personas, intolerable attitudes, horrible language, you name it. But as things started to settle down, (Just like how my horrible hairstyle had changed over the past two years) things started getting better.. and worse at the same time. In a blink of an eye, prelims are 5 weeks away and A levels about 4 months. Battries are running low and CCAs had to stop. 

Things got better when the new J1s came into photog. Photog camp march’ 10, I believe that was the mark of greater bonding and fun within photog. Awesome people, awesome activities, awesome camps, awesome outings. Everything was great about photog. Today was the last photog session before we bid farewell next week. We had tons of fun even though it was only for and hour or so.To the photog class of 09, 10 and 11, thanks for filling the last of my JC life with colour that I wished I had but never got. (if only I was an OGL ): ) Continue snapping inspirational photos, stay in contact and hope to see you guys more often in the years to come! Most importantly, stay happy.

I HAVE A FAN~ I HAVE A FAN? I HAVE A FAN! Haha ok cool Ramuna (Kay Yan and Joanne’s friend) said “you’re YanLing?? as in THE YanLing? Huang YanLing??” which was as funny as it was amazing. xD Haha. And i thought hockey photos were like in some ignored pile from last term Hope I win SNAP comp! It would be an accomplishment!

My squash on the other hand is dying… can’t even hit the ball now. zomg. T-I-R-E-D after sleeping later than usual and from studying and soccer+squash ): Photos appearing next week on the cip exhibition too~ <3 baby. Haha! Awesome colour!
